An ancient, grade 2 listed rambling multi-roomed pub built circa 1670. Very large fireplace to roast yourself by. Former haunt of Dick Turpin. Outside the pub is a gantry sign, once common, but now one of the very few left in the county. This was brought here in 1955 after the original Fox and Hounds had burned down. This is now a food led pub which reopened after major refurbishment on 5th April 2019.
