This pub/restaurant dates back to 1858 and is split into two sections, with one a cosy snug section with flagstone floor and comfy seating and the main bar with wooden flooring leads into a restaurant area. Marquees are used for weddings and parties, and the enclosed garden is child friendly. Meals are freshly prepared, a mix of a la carte and specials, see website for seasonal menus and to check which menu is being served at what particular time of day. This pub re-opened in Nov 2014 after a 20 month closure and has been newly decorated inside and outside.
