Situated at the northern end of the High Street, the Crown was refurbished in 2018 and became a single-bar pub. Framed pictures of the town's past line the walls, and flags, mostly military, adorn the ceiling. Multiple TV screens show sporting events and a new extended garden area provides plenty of outside seating. Only one cask ale is served, with the selection changing each time.
