A former Victorian townhouse in the Cathedral Road conservation area, located close to the Sophia Gardens cricket stadium, which makes it popular on match days. The open plan area is divided by a half width wall into two distinct areas. A large rear yard is a popular sun trap early in the day in the summer months and the front garden similarly in the evenings. Imaginative food menu. Formerly Evan Evans brewery's only pub in the district, the Cricketers was acquired by the Croeso Pubs company in August 2025. The pub also serves Cricketers Ale, a 4.3% ABV beer brewed for Croeso by Glamorgan Brewery. Cask beers are £3.50 a pint from 4 to 8pm Sun to Thu and from 5 to 7pm Fir and Sat.
