Essentially a Cafe/Restaurant/Visitor Centre owned by Shropshire Council but run under contract by a local couple. It comprises a Cafe area alongside the restaurant, where the bar is situated with a more secluded dining area at the side overlooking the Mere. All inside tables are laid out for food, so seating is at a premium during the height of the tourist season, but there is plenty of outside seating when the weather is favourable. The Cafe is open from 8.30am to 4.30 p.m.
