Grade II listed building with frontage built in 15th century. The front bar area is designed to cater mainly for drinkers, with fixtures and fittings in Elizabethan style, using reclaimed church furniture. As at November 2025 two handpumps have been brought back into use. There is another full size (non-cask) bar towards the rear in the large dining area. A "pulpit" for the weekend DJ's overlooks a small dance floor. There's a pool table at the back which leads onto the balcony terrace overlooking the canal. Plasma televisions adorn the walls, if you reserve a table or booth, table service is provided. The upstairs function room can accommodate up to 190. Lively at weekends.
