Historic Interest

The pub was listed in John Stotts 1977 guide to Good Beer in Bolton as selling Greenall Whitley Bitter and both light and dark Mild, (E), with Juke Box, darts, dominoes. nice glass partitions. However by 1982 it was a Greenall Whitley Keg pub, but by 1985 it was selling cask Greenall Whitley Mild and Bitter again (E). In the 1989 Beer in Bolton it was not listed as selling Cask Beer. In 2002 it was selling Tetley Bitter, Lees Bitter and Bank Top Brydge Bitter.
