Dating from 1871 this multi-levelled, four room pub, retains its quirky charm and layout. There are six real ales including 4 changing guests. A popular live music venue, it hosts regular performances on most Thursday and Friday nights. The walls are always covered with pictures and other art for sale, plus a chance to meet Maxine the Mannequin. Other events include monthly quiz or poetry evenings. There is a world music club once per month. No food available, but free chip butties are available after Swindon Town FC home games. See What’s On page at www.bee-hive.co.uk for more information.

Historic Interest

Built by the Belle Vue Brewery in 1871. Later the property of the Star Brewery it was bought by Morrell's in 1896.
