Dating from 1871 this multi-levelled, four room pub, retains its quirky charm and layout. There are six real ales including 4 changing guests. A popular live music venue, it hosts regular performances on most Thursday and Friday nights. The walls are always covered with pictures and other art for sale, plus a chance to meet Maxine the Mannequin. Other events include monthly quiz or poetry evenings. Historic Interest
Built by the Belle Vue Brewery in 1871. Later the property of the Star Brewery it was bought by Morrell's in 1896.
