Friendly traditional-style town pub with a centrally-located island bar and two separate drinking areas. The pub attracts a diverse clientele throughout the day, whereas attractions like DJ sets, music bingo, and TV sports often draw in a younger crowd in the evenings. The pub offers a Japanese food menu excellently prepared by Ramen Electra Noodles. Three rotating cask ales are available, with a mix of unusual and more mainstream choices, and there is 25% off a pint on Mondays. Outside, a large pleasant garden can be found where children are permitted up until 9pm. Awarded South Herts CAMRA's "highly improved pub" award in 2024.
