Basement's small but welcoming and cosy tap room is located in the heart of vibrant Stokes Croft and is larger than it looks. One Basement cask beer is normally available, varying according to the season, plus up to eight from the taps at the rear of the tiny bar representing a wide variety of styles. Quiz nights, live music and art exhibitions regularly feature.

It is not actually in a basement (the name comes from its original location), so do not let this put you off if you have mobility issues.
