A double-bay windowed conversion of a private house gifted to the community with an inconspicuous side entrance. Established in 1906, it's a friendly members' only club but, at the time of writing, was closed to new applicants. However, it has good facilities and many groups, such as craft societies, meet here regularly. It occasionally opens on a Monday or a Tuesday; if so, it invariably follows Wednesday hours.
