Micropub and bottle shop in a former supermarket store room. The bar opened in May 2021 in an area increasingly popular for hospitality venues. The bar is accessed, via a side entrance, through the outside area. The real ale choice on handpump was increased to two regularly changing guests, often a pale ale and a dark beer. There is a real ale loyalty scheme operated where the purchase of real ale on six visits results in a free pint. In addition there are ten craft keg lines, six of which change regularly, and up to 200 bottled and canned craft beers from breweries all over the UK and around the world. Some of which qualify as real by CAMRA's definition. The premises also operates as an off licence offering beers, wines and spirits with a free online delivery service. Happy to advise on the choice of beers. Live acoustic music features on Sunday from 3pm with a general knowledge quiz on Thursday at 8pm and a music quiz at 8pm on Sunday evenings. Closed for several months in 2024, whilst whilst a dispute with the owner of the property was resolved. Reopened on July 18th 2025.
