Reopened following a major refurbishment at the beginning of November 2018. Former farmhouse, hence the name. The interior has been opened out with several distinct areas served by a central bar. Specialises in Sizzling Steak dishes that are served from lunchtime until early evening. The arrival of the new manager has seen the real ale range rise to up to three and these can be from near and far. Imposing pub with an extensive garden area at the front of the building and a large car park and smaller outside seating area to the rear. A recent addition to the garden area are seated sheds. Close to Herringthorpe Stadium and playing fields.

Historic Interest

Former stone-built farmhouse, hence the name.
