Winlaton's best kept secret for cask ale. It is now cask marque accredited and serves fantastic ales which change weekly. They do not use sparklers as they believe this knocks some of the conditioning out of the ale. The landlord likes to have a dark and light ale on each pump (they have two) and rotates every week or so. The bar is very traditional and spotlessly clean. It has a great atmosphere and is very friendly. focusing on session and premium blonde ales.
