Old stone block, end of terrace pub by entrance to bus station. The front Mock Tudor style public bar has a pool table, loads of photographs on every wall and many regulars keenly following television sports particularly horse racing. The single real ale is very well priced and the real cider (also on hand pull) is very rare for the area. Also a quieter lounge to the rear. Toasties available.
