Warm and hospitable country inn, with 3 open fires. Just off the A68, 10 miles south of Corbridge. Double glazed window in bar wall allows customers to view the well-maintained cellar. Proper home cooked food is on offer and very popular with both tourists and locals. Excellent accommodation is available. Derwent Reservoir is nearby. The pub has a good wi-fi connection. Superb views over the valley from rear beer garden. Open on Bank Holidays
