A Wetherspoon in a fine old coaching inn with one long rambling bar. It becomes very lively and crowded at weekends. There is a quieter food area, and patio seating in the adjacent passageway. Children are welcome and food is served all day, with breakfasts from 7am. Th House beer is of unknown origin.

Grade II listing entry 1063863. Mid 18th century and the facade is probably c1820-40. it has later additions and alterations including those of the 1980s.
