Two roomed pub with traditional values. "No pool table, no juke box, no bandit" boasts the proud landlord. A pub on this site since 1800s, the bar has over 40 framed photographs of old Blaydon. Live bands once a month. Excellent views of River Tyne and Tyne valley. Dog friendly. Premises patronised by local blind club! Blaydon has recently benefited from a much improved rail service. There are now 10 trains per day in each direction which call at Blaydon Station.
