Landlords Chris and Chris celebrated their 10th anniversary at this pub in 2024. There is a cosy lounge bar with a separate games room featuring pool and darts. One real cider is always on handpump. There is plenty of interesting memorabilia relating to the pub's namesake bomber. The pub is heavily involved with the local community and participates in the Meet Up Mondays initiative. On alternate weeks movies are screened for free to provide a way for people to meet others and find companionship.

Premises used to be The Lodge public house. Converted to housing then re-opened as a pub in 2014
