This characterfull, small and popular pub, just off the town centre can be very busy at weekends. There are three distinct areas served from the single bar. It has a flagged slate floor, low ceilings and an open log fire, adding to the traditional feel. It hosts a variety of musicians playing different styles of music depending on day, including bluegrass one Sunday each month (see Facebook)
