Conveniently set in a town centre location near the top end of King Street, the Mill has an interesting characterful layout over the various floors, centred around a restored original but now static Waterwheel. A small section of the Town Beck which drove the wheel can be seen from the Terrace Bar's patio area.
The Cask Bar on the ground floor has eight handpulls, serving four guest beers alongside the Lancaster Brewery range. There are picnic tables outside to the front. The first floor Terrace Bar (with a separate outdoor patio area with seating) is open from 7pm on Friday and Saturday.
Deservedly popular for quality food, there is also an upstairs restaurant - booking is recommended. Their own loyalty scheme offers a free pint for every 9 bought (Lancaster Brewery ales only).
