Malthouse, Swansea

Café Bar & Restaurant, which is also the bar for the Swansea Grand Theatre and is run by a local brewery in partnership with the theatre. A large conservatory building, attached to the side of the Swansea Grand Theatre, it is done out in a comfortable modern style. It has separate entrances from the theatre itself and from the road and is normally open to the general public, as well as for pre-theatre events. There is a food menu available and there is a long bar at the rear serving a variety of Gower Brewery products.

The Malthouse Bar is only regularly open every Monday to Saturday as a café Bar from 10am to 2.30pm. In EVENINGS it is open as a bar & restaurant ON THEATRE NIGHTS ONLY from 5:30pm - 10:30pm. On theatre nights they offer three bar options including The Malthouse on the ground floor, the Grand Circle Bar and the first floor Crush Bar, which may be open earlier and offer food and some drinks.
