The Walnut has been under new management since July 2025.

It serves up to four cask ales, often from smaller independent regional breweries.

There is regular live music at weekends and the pub holds a variety of events including a Beer Festival at the last weekend in June 2026. Please see its Facebook page for current details.

Historic Interest

May also be listed at 1 Walnut Tree Walk. Owned by Greene King from 1898 but currently believed to be owned by Admiral Taverns. Originally only a beerhouse, the Walnut Tree obtained its full license on February 11th 1953. Between 2019 and 2024, the pub won several CAMRA Pub of the Year Awards.
