The Crown Inn started as a coaching inn, and dates back to 1704, when two separate dwellings were altered to make the one building. It offers 2 regular ales and 2 changing ales from Everards or guest beers.

Food is served in the bar and restaurant and live music often plays at weekends and bank holidays. The Crown participates in the Uppingham Town Beer Festival. En-suite accommodation is available.
