Attractive coaching inn dating from the 16th Century .Situated in the centre of the historic village of Hartfield,it is an ideal base for exploring Ashdown Forest.Inside there are two rooms: a long bar with a low beamed ceiling and a restaurant. The pub offers a varied menu of home-cooked food, served in the bar and restaurant.in 2007 B&B accommodation was introduced.
