Originally, the building contained a water mill dating back to the 18th Century. After years of neglect, the pub had a massive rebuild completed in 2013. Reopened Dec 2018 as a venue for drinking and dining. Comfortable and well decorated inside. Aim is to deliver high end pub food featuring steaks, burgers and pizzas and using local produce. Food is available throughout the day without a break.Over 50 wines are available by the glass. Still, boxed cider is available. The main bar is at the front of the pub on the ground floor. A further bar at the rear of the ground floor is open weekends. There is a 3rd bar upstairs serving the upper floor. 3 function rooms are available for hire. There is an attractive garden at the rear of the pub. Child and dog friendly. There is a car park for pub customers. Live music is performed regularly on Fridays and Saturdays.
