This historic pub is part of the Punch Taverns group and is believed to be the oldest pub in town and was a former High Street coaching inn dating from the 16th century, it still retains some interesting architectural features. Nigel and Mel have run this pub for over 10 years, it has a strong community feel, garden for family usage, dog friendly, TV sports and live music on Saturday nights. Tuesday night is quiz night.
