This is a restaurant, where drinking alcohol, including draught and bottled beer, is only allowed when food is being consumed.

Charcoal occupies what was one of the old waiting rooms actually on the Aviemore station. There is a door in from Station Square, and a second entrance from platform 1.

It describes itself as "A Fusion Restaurant which embraces Mediterranean and Indian dishes in Aviemore".
