In a former charity shop, Syston's first micropub originally opened on 20 December 2018. It has a 1950s pharmacy theme, including many medical artefacts, equipment and adverts; and a friendly skeleton (Cedric) sitting on a dentist chair! Apart from a varying selection of real ales, it has up to seven 'craft kegs'. Two or more guest real ales are normally available. Cheese cobs, Pork pies and other snacks are available in the bar. Leicester CAMRA Pub of the Month October 2019 and Leicester Pub of the Year 2025
