The pub retains its two-room layout, albeit modernised, with a central servery. Public bar on the left with a panelled annexe; lounge with real fire on the right. There are small patios side and rear. Darts and poker nights; live jazz Thursday lunchtimes fortnightly; dogs welcome. There is a house beer 'Dog & Gun Bitter' brewed by Shipstone's. No hot food is served.
