Change of use granted for: Change of use of vacant public house (sui generis) to 7 bed HMO (sui generis) with associated external works/rebuilding, and provision of bin and cycle storage

The pub was closed down for breaches of the Covid regulations in 2020. It did briefly reopen but there was previously approved planning application (18/0561M) for its demolition.

Small street corner local strong on dart. The guest beer is usually from the excellent Phoenix brewery in Heywood.

The Prince Albert Angling Society was established here in 1954 but no longer meets here.
