Genuine free house in a pleasant country village with traditional beams and a wood-burner for cold winter nights. Extensively refurbished in early 2023. The well-kept ales are served alongside a good range of home-cooked food. Outside drinking area is beside the village cricket pitch for those who like the sound of leather on willow or the view as they drink.
