Large pub in Basildon. Has seating outside, but glasses not allowed out there, so you will get plastic. Has two pool tables on the left side of the bar. There are up to three real ales available. There is a raised area opposite the bar, where live bands play at weekends. Pub is wheelchair accessible. Zaika @ The Jolly Friar is an Indian takeaway which serves food from 5pm daily.
