One time theatre bar only open to patrons, now open to all. Basement bar which re-launched in mid-February 2019 at the London Theatre on New Cross Road. A wide range of cask and keg beers along with a selection of gins are available. Cask is sold from boxed polypins (or minikegs) on gravity dispense from a cellar room behind the bar counter - some of these may contain bright beer so ask for confirmation. There are three rooms, the rearmost also features a functioning model railway. Quiz night Wednesday. Intends to concentrate on real ales from Kent breweries. Ask for a Loyalty card, buy 10 pints and get the 11th free. There is a small theatre space at the rear which often puts on productions and events on Sunday and Monday evenings. Card payments accepted. Has recently been selling a house beer from a new Kent brewery called Headcorn Hop
