Large country pub in a remote village, near the River Ant at the end of Thurne dyke. Busy holiday trade from travellers and Broads cruisers in summer. Plenty of moorings are available nearby and a large garden area for summer drinking and dining.

Sensibly priced Bar meals and separate Restaurant menu. Large number of Craft ales. Owned by the same people who transformed the White Horse at Neatishead, House Ales badged as 'Pell & Co' are brewed locally. Winter meal times vary.. Welcoming to families and sole drinkers alike. A particularly dog friendly pub. Takeaway food usually offered, call the pub to confirm. Pub offers a loyalty card scheme for food and drink which is alsu useable at their sister pub in Neatishead.
