Built in 1892. Ex-Fremlins, Whitbread, Ei now Stonegate. Reverted to original name in 2007 after spells as from c.1988 Elephant, from 1994 Hogshead, from 2002 Jordan. Un-gentrified local. Rustic-style décor with fake wood beams on rough plaster, wood chairs & tables including some fashioned from old barrels. Narrow walled rear patio garden. On Mondays there is an acoustic jam session from nine. Quiz night Wednesday.
