A proper, traditional village pub. There are steps up from the street; to your right is a lively bar, with a lower pool room area, and featuring Sky sports TV and a whole host of sporting memorabilia, including signed photographs and football shirts; to the left is a comfortable lounge. There is also a large rear courtyard garden. In addition, the pub has three letting rooms, including one which is fully disabled accessible.

Bus service to the village reinstated 2022.
