A popular and welcoming family friendly rural pub, serving both local and nearby communities, and a hub of the community. It is a free house, serving one constantly changing ale, mostly from national breweries.

Warm and cosy inside, with a welcoming fire in the winter, it's a a place to enjoy good conversation and excellent beer. Major sporting events are shown on TV (FA Cup, Six Nations Rugby), adding to the community atmosphere.

There is a large beer garden which is popular in the summer.
