A popular and welcoming rural pub, family friendly, serving both the local and nearby communities, a hub of the community. A true free house, serving one constantly changing ale, mostly from national breweries.

Warm and cosy, with a welcoming fire in the winter, a place to enjoy good conversation and excellent beer, a proper pub. Major sporting events (FA Cup, Six Nations Rugby) is shown on (free-to-air) TV.

There is a large beer garden which is popular in the summer.

Food trucks provide food on a Friday or Saturday evening, (check on blackboard in pub for dates and details). Closed Monday and Tuesday and lunch times.
