The Blue Boar is a former coaching inn, first licensed in 1683.

The pub is devided into several areas, with the former stables now forming part of the restaurant.

Recently purchased by Youngs Retail and given a thorough but sympathetic refurbishment, this pub/dining room boasts four real ales, and serves great British food.

The main bar area also boasts a traditional log burner and casual seating area.
