Built in 1567 as a coaching inn, The Turks was one of the first licensed premises in England. Today it's still a traditional English pub, with good food, real ale and a friendly atmosphere, now nestling alongside the London Road bus lane and is much larger inside than you might expect. New manager took over in June 2024.
