A recently-refurbished 17th century, listed building in an enviable riverside location within sight of the weir and adjacent lock upstream of Pangbourne toll bridge. This large pub retains several distinct areas to imbibe from the regularly-changing upmarket food menu or diminished drink offerings. With the Thames Path passing close-by, the sun-trap riverside terrace allows free rein for gongoozlers to watch passing river-craft as well as those mooring-up alongside.
