A recently-refurbished 17th century, listed building in an enviable riverside location within sight of the weiir and adjacent lock upstreadm of Pangbourne toll bridge. This large pub retains several distinct areas to imbibe from the regularly-changing upmarket food menu or diminshed drink offerings. With the Thames Path passing close-by, the sun-trap riverside terrace allows free rein for gongoozlers to watch passing rivercraft as well as those mooring-up alongside.
