Appears to have reopened in late July 2026 with new tenants, had possibly closed in April 2026 after the previous tenants left.
New website, e-mail address and telephone number, the old Facebook page has been deleted from this entry because it probably belonged to the previous tenants.
Reopened on 31 October 2025 having closed about 21 June 2022 following the passing in May 2022 of the previous leaseholder. The hours are from the the previous tenants therefor may not be for the new tenants (the new website is a holding page with no hours on it as of 5 August 2026). To be updated in due course.
The Ferryboat is a beautiful 18th century country style pub with lots of atmosphere. Nestled in the small riverside village of Whitchurch on Thames and just a few yards from the Whitchurch toll bridge. The emphasis is clearly on a top-end pub dining experience, with a separate dining area; but drinkers can still feel comfortable enough in the main bar area.
There is a defibrillator on the corner of Manor Road, 200m north of the pub, located on the west side of the road in a disused red telephone box.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 0 regular beers.
Cask Ale
