AUG 2020 - Pub closed and unlikely to reopen as planning in principle application 19/05565/PPP approved to demolish and build flats on site. Internal fittings are being sold. However, it has not yet been sold so anything could happen ........

A single-roomed pub with a central bar, tucked away up a side street. A set of nineteen beautifully hand-painted mirrors depict flora and fauna and the national emblems and flags of Scotland, Wales, Ireland and England. A comfortable place for a quiet drink with newspapers provided. Major sport events are shown on the TV. Children are not admitted.
