DEC 2025 - Reported to have given up selling real ale because of low demand and wastage.

The Railway is the closest pub to the now closed station and has returned to its original name. During 2024 fresh life has been injected into the pub by new management.

The narrow bar to the left is a good place to chat. There is also an area of seating and a rather plush lounge. TVs show sport, there are comedy and quiz nights and monthly live music sessions.

Food is served until the evening on Friday and Saturday.
