A pub that ticks a lot of boxes, focusing on both Locale and regional beers, great pub food and a friendly vibe. It has a genuine community feel but is equally welcoming to summer visitors. Themed pub evenings include curry and quiz nights as well as seasonal events. It is cosy in the winter with its real fire and appealing in summer months with its suntrap courtyard garden at the rear.
