Several times winner of the Branch Pub of the Year Award, and national CAMRA Pub of the Year Runner-Up in 2011, the pub has been in the GBG for over 30 consecutive years and has only had two landlords during that time. The pub normally shows all the big sporting events, but the volume will be muted or at a low volume. It always has a mild available.
