Reopened in Feb 2016, following extensive refurbishment. Popular pub, standing back from the busy A631 M1/M18 link-road in the retail and leisure area of the village, The downstairs layout has been opened out with a central bar featuring up to five beers. Changing real ales may be soured locally or from further afield. Large upstairs function room, sometimes featuring live entertainment. Outside seating at the front and in the garden at the rear. Historic pictures of the area adorn the walls. Lively on weekend evenings. Opens at 10am Monday to Saturday, 10.30am on Sunday.
