Large, imposing pub situated at the heart of a village that has seen a massive increase in population in recent years.The pub is renowned for its friendly atmosphere and boasts two distinct rooms. Real ale is sold at a very reasonable price. Recently taken over by Bet & Steve Lyon, a very experienced and respected local couple. A Carvery is served at Sunday lunchtimes and afternoon tea is served Wed to Sat afternoons up to 6pm, in addition to main meals. There is a general knowledge quiz on Tuesday nights and Open mic Music nights on Thursday and Sunday. Close to Ravenfield Ponds and Thrybergh Reservoir/Country Park.
