This former Tetley house was bought by Robinson's in 2009, and refurbished to a very high standard late 2012. It is now operated by the Broadoak Pub Company. Now open plan, it retains plenty of separate areas and has an orangery overlooking the patio and landscaped gardens. Although the pub is very much food-led, Hand pumps dispense a selection of Robinsons beers. Three real fires and great decor make for a nice winter pub and the new garden and play area is of great use during the summer. Parts of the garden can be hired for marquees.

Bus 89 stops close to pub. This is run as an extension to the 88 service to/from Altrincham with through fares available.
