Cosy, street corner pub largely given over to food and coffees as well as real ale in the form of Timothy Taylor Landlord. The pub often closes early when food service has finished, however, will remain open whilst customers remain. The pub consists of 4 small rooms. Friendly and welcoming, there is a car park at the rear with raised decking area for sunny days. The name refers to a flag on The Duke of Sheffields' ship, who used to be a major landowner in this area, it was one of the ships that took part in defeating the Spanish Armada.
